  • A personalized strategy call with a complete content walk-through to capture everything we need to get your website started.

  • A unique design that stands out from the rest. This includes custom CSS coding & font selection.

  • A walkthrough for custom domain registration (or connection if you already own one).

WHAT DOES THE DESIGN PROCESS LOOK LIKE?

1 | RESERVE YOUR SPOT

Reserve your spot in my design queue by submitting a 50% non-refundable deposit and signing the our partnering contact.

  • At this stage, we will schedule a time to talk over Zoom and discuss your vision for your website, as well as its layout.

2 | LAYING THE FOUNDATION FOR YOUR SITE

We’ll walk through everything that’s needed to get your website started.

  • Complete a comprehensive questionnaire to get clear on your business, mission, goals, and ideal client.

  • Fill out the complete content guide that I will email to you so that we have a way to communicate with your customers about who you are and what you do.

3 | I TAKE IT FROM HERE & RESEARCH FOR YOU

I walk through the content & questionnaire you completed and then spend time researching your industry, competitors and ideal client to ensure that my design meets your needs, and helps you stand out from competitors. This will help to establish the unique foundation of your website.

4 | WEBSITE BRANDING

I will start capturing the essence of your website‘s design with colors, typography, and the research pulled together from both your competitors and initial design questionnaire.

First Deliverable: You’ll get a custom mood board & font selection that showcases the feel for your website.

5 | PHOTOGRAPHY SELECTION

A picture is worth a thousand words, or so they say! I use my experience to bring you images that fit the vision of your branding & business. These images are FREE unless you have a custom selection you would like to purchase. These images will make a huge impact on your future customers.

Second Deliverable: You will get a custom selection of 15 - 25 images to showcase your products or services.

6 | INITIAL WEB & MOBILE DESIGN

Once we have your content & branding ready to go, we will work together to take your vision and create a website design that not only speaks to you, but to your customers as well. This is a two-stage process where I will craft your initial website design & then meet with you to gather your feedback before fine-tuning the website to perfection.

Third Deliverable: You will review your beautiful new website with me and share any major changes or adjustments you would like to see!

7 | WEBSITE REVIEW & FEEDBACK

You’ll get to review the changes you requested on your website and request any last adjustments before we meet for the final publishing of your website.

Fourth Deliverable: I will send you the official link to your unpublished website for final review and feedback. We’re almost there!

8 | WEBSITE LAUNCH

After you have paid your full project balance, I will deliver all final branding & image files in organized folders through Dropbox. I'll transfer your website over to you, teach you how to edit and update your site, and take your brand new, gorgeous and functional website and get it published online.

Final Deliverable: I’ll walk you through your website, show you the beautiful tools you have access to behind the scenes, and we’ll publish your website together. You’re live now!

 

AddiTIONAL SERVICES

  • I’ll work with you to design a custom logo for your business with custom colors and font selection. This includes alternative logo designs so you have a variety of ways to express your business. You can explore more here.

  • Looking for additional help with your website after the 2 week technical support? I’m a resource for you - I charge at my hourly rate for any additional support you may need.

  • Looking for a business card to pass out to future clients and business partners? Do you need a new flyer to market your products? Let’s talk about how I can support you with physical print-designed products.

  • Do you want to be found online by your customers? I walk you through the process of setting up your business online with Google Places so people looking up businesses like yours can find you too!

  • These two platforms are the best in the industry for making a website that not only works across all browsers and mobile devices, but has great tools to help you get found online.

    Squarespace is focused on simple & easy design for new or small businesses.

    Wordpress focuses on customization and is a high-end website platform for more established businesses.

  • Absolutely! I am here to support you. If you need additional help, please feel free to contact me, and I will assist you at my hourly rate.

  • Yes, there are additional costs not included in the package. To have either a Squarespace or Wordpress website, you'll have to invest in a monthly plan that you can find listed on their site (you can look at Squarespace’s pricing here, and Wordpress’s pricing here).

    You will also need a domain (if you don't already have one).

    Beyond that, any custom fonts will need to be purchased for commercial use and can cost anywhere from $10 - 30.

  • While website platforms like Squarespace are built to be user-friendly, there is quite a bit of technical knowledge required to build a site that works well and looks unique. I use current market knowledge, custom CSS, and other custom illustration to create a website that is completely branded to your business. I also take care of everything from set-up to launch, so that you can focus on growing your business!

  • Absolutely! I take a lot of pride in delivering a beautiful website to you on time, with all the bells and whistles. Once I have all of your website content materials (copy and account information for linked social media and e-Newsletters) I will be able to meet all deadlines specified.

  • Of course! For all projects, 50% is due to reserve your spot, and the final balance is due once your website has been delivered.

    If it’s easier for you, you can make a down payment of 50% to reserve your spot, 25% at project’s start, and 25% at end of project.
